Our nature-walk therapy sessions for individuals with eating disorders are designed to help you find your way back to a healthy relationship with food, your body, and yourself.


Unlike traditional talk therapy and counseling, our one-on-one nature walk-n-talks provide an opportunity to connect with nature and engage the senses, which can be incredibly calming and grounding. It encourages relaxation, reduces stress, and promotes self-reflection, making it an ideal environment for talk therapy and counseling. You'll be able to explore your thoughts and emotions in a safe and supportive environment while experiencing the beauty and serenity of nature.

Our therapist, Laura, understands the complexity and sensitivity of eating disorders, and offers a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to treatment. With evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness, she will help you understand the root causes of your disorder, develop new coping skills, and build a positive self-image. You'll be able to progress at your own pace and work towards recovery with a supportive therapist by your side.

Included in the Session

1 : a mini guided yoga/meditation

2 : a therapeutic walk
3 : a snack at the end of session

An example of what the session could look like:

  • Meet at the designated location

  • Start with a guided gentle stretch

  • Go for a walk and talk

  • Wind down with stretching and/or meditation

  • Wrap up with snack and discuss take aways from the session
